US President Barack Obama made it clear yet again that the US has no intention of stationing soldiers on the front lines in Syria, despite a decision to send a small unit of Special Forces to the country.
Obama told NBC that the move was merely an expansion of operations already active in the region, and indicated that Washington previously sent Special Forces to Syria for various missions.
