Minister Ze’ev Elkin (Likud) responded to a decision made by the Ethics Committee regarding clashes between him and MK Ahmad Tibi. Elkin said that “I am proud to have been reprimanded for defending the honor of the nation and for telling Ahmad Tibi the truth to his face.”
“I am not taking back anything I said. Ahmad Tibi and his incitement and blood libel partners are against the State of Israel and its soldiers. They carry the responsibility for the current terror wave and the blood spilled, of Jews and Arabs alike.”
