MK Ahmad Tibi (Arab Joint List) was penalized by the Knesset’s Ethics Committee, following an incident during which he clashed with Minister Ze’ev Elkin, and instructed that the Minister be distanced from the plenum platform.
Tibi, who serves as Deputy Knesset Speaker, was suspended for two weeks from managing plenum meetings. Minister Elkin was simultaneously given a tongue-lashing by the Committee for his expressions against the MK.
