Prosecutors have filed charges against two teenagers from the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of a-Tur for attempted murder and possession of a knife.
The teens, aged 15 and 17, allegedly bought an ax and a knife in Jerusalem's Old City last week. They they wandered around the city for a while, intending to carry out an attack and murder Jews.
Instead of a victim coming along, a police officer found the pair. He took away their weapons and arrested them.
