MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) has commented on Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel's (Jewish Home) proposal to stop spaying stray cats due to the halachic ban and instead to transfer them to a foreign country.
"We need to transfer all of the government's treatment of animals to the Ministry of Environmental Protection, just as I proposed during the previous government, and which was sabotaged," said MK Livni. "This is the time to do it."
