France and China's presidents, Francois Hollande and Xi Jinping, reached an understanding Monday over the emerging climate change agreement, AFP reports.
In a joint statement held earlier, the two leaders said it was an "important step" toward signing an agreement at the upcoming climate change conference in Paris next month.
