A Knesset committee approved of an initiative to examine the salaries and payments made to MKs and a request to assign an addition Parliamentary advisor to each MK. The request will now be brought before the Public Commission.
The cost of employing roughly 90 new Parliamentary advisors is 20 million shekels per year.
