Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon met on Tuesday with his US counterpart, Ashton Carter.
During the meeting, Ya’alon told Carter that “I would like to give thanks for the special relations between the US and Israel. We appreciate the readiness and the time that you dedicate in order to strengthen the State of Israel… We must continue to develop and strengthen intelligence and defense capabilities… so that we can use them on a number of fronts. A significant part of our might and force is based on US aid, and I am happy that we are meeting in order to discuss these matters.”
