Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein on Tuesday informed attorneys representing former Labor party chairman Binyamin Ben-Eliezer that he had decided to place Ben-Eliezer on trial on charges of bribery, money laundering, fraud and breach of trust and tax evasion.

Ben-Eliezer is suspected of receiving money related to his public activities from various businessmen, and then using that money to purchase real estate, among other things.
