A joint operation between the IDF, the Shin Bet, and Border Police led to this morning's (Tuesday) arrest of two senior members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The arrests were carried out in the Jenin refugee camp, where the two were planning attacks against Israeli security forces.
Twenty-four-year-old Kis Sa'adi, a Hamas member who has been involved in shooting at IDF soldiers, creating and placing bombs, and selling weapons. Authorities have not said what 29-year-old Tair Jardat, an Islamic Jihad member, is accused of.
During the arrest, police uncovered a variety of weapons and military equipment.
