Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein spoke out against incitement Monday at the special session of the Knesset plenum in honor of Yitzhak Rabin.

In the era of social networking, "we must inscribe on our heart and additional order, a social order not to incite," Edelstein stressed. This is so, because incitement is often the catalyst for negative physical violence and harming innocent people."

"Human's natural need to vent their anger and frustration through a post or a tweet is superficial and shallow - we must refrain," the Knesset Speaker continued. "This must stop, for otherwise, the finger on the keyboard could become the finger on a trigger."
