Ariel Mayor Eliyahu Shviro has commented on this afternoon's (Sunday) attack at Ariel Junction. Shviro says that he "sees the situation in which a terrorist arrives at Ariel Junction, near the city, and attacks innocent people, as very serious."
He added, "We have faith in security forces, and we will ensure that the IDF answers to the Jewish residents at the junction."
Shviro closed by saying, "I am sorry that Tel Aviv, Ariel, Ra'anana, and other cities have turned into targets for attacking innocent Jews. I wish the victim a swift recovery and believe that security forces will apprehend the perpetrator. Sadly, the unending incitement from the Palestinian leadership leads to tragic results such as this."
