MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) wrote to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Facebook, saying, "Leave the Holocaust alone, Mr. Netanyahu. Let us remember our dead. To take pride in what there was and to take pride in what Israel is now. Don't use it for cynical politics."
MK Livni sfurther commented on Prime Minister Netanyahu's comment about the role of the Grand Mufti in the Holocaust, claiming that "We must clearly speak the truth. And the truth is that for year, the Prime Minister of Israel - the sovereign, independent, and strongest state in the region - has convinced us that we are week and a step away from destruction. That we are weak ghetto Jews in the Middle East."
