Switzerland has decided "in principle" to cut back on its sanctions against Iran, alongside similar moves by the European Union and the United Nations.
The Swiss Federal Council has instructed its Economy Ministry to prepare for the changes, which are expected to "open new perspectives for cooperation with Iran."
The government noted that the sanctions will only be lifted after there is proof Iran is abiding by the agreement.
