Today's (Tuesday) Knesset assembly dealt with the "Day of Poverty," which MK Eli Alaluf (Kulanu) used as a starting point to discuss the recent terror wave.
MK Alaluf, who also heads the Labor, Welfare, and Health Committee, argued that the high poverty rates among Arabs in Israel is one of the causes for the terror attacks.
"Some of the severe symptoms that we have witnessed over the past few weeks are the result of poverty among the Arab population," said Alaluf. "Half of the Arab population suffers from poverty and not enough is done for this sector."
