Ofra Klinger was appointed by Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) on Monday as commissioner of the Israel Prison Service.
The appointment will be brought before the Cabinet for approval, subject to the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Senior Appointments chaired by retired Supreme Court Justice Yaakov Turkel.
