Germany expressed deep concern on Monday over the ongoing wave of Arab terror in Israel and called on both Israel and the Palestinians to avoid steps that could lead to an escalation of violence.
"We are really very concerned about the situation in Israel and the occupied territories, in the West Bank," Sawsan Chebli, a spokeswoman for the German foreign ministry said.
"We call on both sides to avoid any steps that could lead to a worsening of the situation. Both sides are called upon to work towards a de-escalation."
