Police have arrested three Arab-Israelis for reportedly firebombing a police car on October 9. The three suspects, one 18 years old and the other two still minors, are all from Jaffa. The adult is identified as Mahmoud Galoush.
Galoush told interrogators that the attack was borne "out of identification with the Palestinian struggle on al-Aqsa."
No one was injured in the incident, which took place two days after demonstrators in Jaffa protested against allowing Jews to enter the Temple Mount.
