The deputy MDA director for the Be'er Sheva district, Gadi Abuhatzira, described the scene of tonight's (Sunday) attack.
"Inside the central bus station we saw wounded people lying down for the length of 30 meters, all in their late 20s," he said. "We arrived with a large force and spread out across the station to search for victims. We set up an emergency center and provided medical care to save the victims' lives."
Abuhatzira added that "Two of them had been shot in the upper body, were unconscious, and were declared to be in critical condition. Four others were moderately wounded, still fully conscious, and had been wounded in their upper bodies and lower limbs. An additional victim was lightly wounded from being shot in the limbs. After providing first aid we evacuated them all to the Soroka Medical Center."
