Police are setting up barriers between the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Armon Hanatziv and Jabel Mukaber, in an effort to prevent the rock and firebomb attacks that have plagued Armon Hanatziv residents for years.
Channel 2 reports that the concrete barriers are expected to be placed alongside Meir Nakar Street in Armon Hanatziv, and will effectively divide the two neighborhoods.
The project was proposed by Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) and was unanimously approved this morning.
