MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) announced that she opposes France’s suggestion of placing international peacekeepers on Temple Mount.
“Placing them… will serve as a severe blow to Israeli sovereignty, which maintains the status quo. Nevertheless, France’s proposal proves yet again that when there is no Israeli initiative, the world decides for us,” Livni said.
