Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Sunday morning at the start of the government’s weekly meeting that Israel staunchly rejects the French proposal to station international peacekeepers on Temple Mount.
“There is no recognition of ‘Palestinian’ incitement or terrorism. Israel is not the problem on Temple Mount, but rather the solution. There was no change in the status quo, except for by people organized by the Islamic Movement who brought explosives into the mosques and attacked Jews,” Netanyahu said.
