Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan (Jewish Home) visited Jerusalem's Old City today (Friday) and handed out pastries to security forces.
"We come here this morning in order to express our appreciation for the security forces who work day and night to ensure our safety," said Rabbi Ben Dahan. "The purpose of the Wellness Community center and Jewish Home youths is welcome and I am proud to be part of it."
As a resident of Jerusalem and a former resident of the Old City, the deputy minister asked "to support all the residents of the Old City to continue their regular lives and to remain alert. We are talking about a conflict over the State of Israel and over the righteousness of our path, and we will not give in."
