Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) has responded to last night's (Thursday) arson at Joseph's Tomb.
"Joseph Tomb is not under Israel control at all and, despite this, Palestinians set fire to the site last night," said Hotovely. "It's because their sole desire is to rewrite history and to damage places that are holy to the Jewish people, which show our deep connection to the Land of Israel that has lasted for thousands of years."
She added that "The world must recognize the Palestinian's malicious intentions and strongly denounce any attacks on holy sites."
