A 15-year-old youth was stabbed overnight in the northern town of Jisr a-Zarqa.
He was taken to Hillel Yaffa Hospital in Hadera, where doctors say that he has moderate injuries to his upper body.
Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the attack.
