The traditional "Around the Gates" prayer event will continue as planned tonight (Tuesday). Out of consideration for the security situation, armed guards will escort the participants.
The event will start at the Kotel at 7:00 pm, and will involve walking through Jerusalem's Old City, with prayers and dancing outside of each gate to the Temple Mount.
Last night Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) published a letter in which he called on the public to join the event, particularly in light of the recent attacks.
