Opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog responded on Facebook to the impending Cabinet meeting, declaring that “The government must stop stuttering and return security at once.”
Herzog named a number of steps that he called the Cabinet to adopt, including closing off Palestinian Arab neighborhoods and sources of dispute in Jerusalem, spreading out military and police forces, fighting incitement on the internet and temporarily closing Temple Mount to all visitors.
