In light of the tensions in Syria, Russia’s entry into the battle and the expectation of an Israeli aid package following the nuclear deal with Iran, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army Joseph Danford will visit Israel next week, Yediot Aharonot reports.
The reports indicate that Danford chose to visit Israel at the start of his candidacy. He began his role last month.
