MK Yisrael Eichler (United Torah Judaism) said on Monday his party would act to change the law so that Shabbat observing Jews will not be rejected by employers due to their faith.
"Unfortunately, Israel is a secular state, where social and human values stand above Jewish religious values," he said, adding, "I will not agree that a person will not be accepted to a workplace because he wanted to keep the Sabbath."
