The Knesset approved on Monday night the first reading of a law initiated by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu mandating minimum prison sentences for rock-throwing and firebombing terrorists.
"This law is part of a series of measures adopted by the Cabinet at my initiation to fight against terrorism," Netanyahu said in response to the approval. "There will be further steps in this struggle."
