Russia's security services claimed Monday that some members of an alleged militant group arrested for plotting a "terrorist attack" in Moscow were trained by Islamic State jihadists in Syria, according to AFP.
The federal security service (FSB) said in a statement carried by Russian news agencies that they had detained a group of people in the Russian capital
and seized bomb materials they were planning to use to attack the capital's busy transport system.
