MK Dr. Anat Berko has demanded that security guards at the Knesset even check entering MKs, due to the current security situation.
"Recently we have been witnessing escalation and incitement in the statements by a number of Knesset members, statements that should raise security concerns for the safety and well-being of those who visit the Knesset," MK Berko wrote in a letter to the Knesset speaker.
She added that, "We must carry out security checks on all visitors to the building, even if it causes some inconvenience."
