Sigal Moran, the head of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council said that she warned in the past against the phenomenon of free Palestinian Arab travel from the Hevron Hills to Israel.
“The attack in Kiryat Gat could have been prevented. For years I have warned against free Palestinian Arab mobility from the southern Hevron Hills into Israeli territories. Years that those illegal squatters have been instilling fear in the region under the supervision of a government well aware of the phenomenon.”
