The official Palestinian Authority news agency, WAFA, has announced that a Palestinian couple has named their newborn son after the terrorist who murdered two people in Jerusalem's Old City.

"The parents of the baby decided to name their new son Muhannad Halabi after the Martyr Halabi from the village of El-Bireh, who was murdered by the occupation's army in occupied Jerusalem," reads the article, as translated by PMW.

Halabi stabbed and killed Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi and Aharon Bennett on Saturday. He also wounded Adele Bennett, Aharon's wife, and their two-year-old son. Police on the scene ended the attack by killing Halabi.
