Protesters near the Chords Bridge tried to block the entrance to Jerusalem this morning (Friday). Police have returned them to the sidewalks and traffic is once again flowing.

"Jerusalem police call for preventing violent and disruptive acts. This is the time to demonstrate responsibility and to calm heightened emotions. Jerusalem police are working hard to maintain order in the city, its residents and the many visitors, and will work to prevent disruptions to regular life," an official statement read.
