The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called for strengthening the Islamic Republic's military, supposedly as a defensive and deterrent measure.
"The armed forces must quickly increase their readiness so that our enemy does not dare to think of attacking us," said Khamenei.
