The Turkel Commission, which examines the appointment of senior members of the public sector, will debate on Thursday morning the appointment of Deputy Head of the Shin Bet (ISA, Israel Security Agency) Ron Alsheikh, to the position of Police Commissioner.
Aside from Alsheikh, the meeting will be attended by Minister of Internal Security Gilad Erdan and Shin Bet Head Yoram Cohen. If the appointment is approved, it will handed to the government for a vote.
