Prosecutors Drop Manslaughter Charges Against Caitlyn Jenner

US prosecutors say they will not charge Caitlyn Jenner for a car crash that killed another driver. They say that there is not enough evidence to convict.

The accident occurred in February, as Jenner was towing an off-road vehicle behind her Cadillac Escalade. She struck two other cars, and pushed one into oncoming traffic. The driver of the latter car, Kim Howe, was struck by a Hummer and killed.

"We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing," said Jenner's attorney. "We are heartened the district attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would be inappropriate. A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter."
