MK Erel Margalit (Zionist Union) has criticized UK Labour party head Jeremy Corbyn for not using the word "Israel" even once during his speech to the Labour Friends of Israel.
"I came to the Labour conference as an unequivocal demonstration to any who need proof that the State of Israel is as strong as ever and that questioning Israel's legimization is not welcome," said MK Margalit. "Israel is the foremost example of the democracy that the Labour Party advances, while Hamas is a murderous terror organization that we need to oppose with force, to isolate, and not to give it legitimization."
He continued, "We are interested in continuing to develop and strengthen our relationship with the Labour Party, but Corbyn must show that he is interested in peace. This is his responsibility in light of his unreliability."
