Roughly 50 families and hundreds of youths headed on Wednesday to an area in the Samarian Foothills (Gav Hahar) called “Shalem,” located between the Itamar and Elon Moreh communities.
The lands belonging to the new “Shalem” community were purchased four years ago by the JNF subsidiary company Himanuta, in order to establish a new Jewish community in the region.
