Minister for Immigration Absorption Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) visited the Gush Etzion communities of Givat Oz V'gaon today (Tuesday). The community was created in memory of the three youths who were murdered last summer.
During his visit, the minister spoke about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attendance at the UN General Assembly in New York: "While the President of Iran is received with royal respect in New York and blames Israel for terror in the Middle East, we must remember what happened here last year and how the three innocent youth were kidnapped and slaughtered in cold blood."
He added, "At this time the Prime Minister is leaving for the US and we are strengthening his hand from here, to stand firm in the face of world leaders and to tell the simple truth - that this is the land of our forefathers. We are here, not through kindness, but by the merit of our ancestors. No one will move us from here, no murderous terror and not foreign pressure."
