Anti-Semitic hate crimes against the haredi community in New York City continued into the High Holidays in which two separate Jews were attacked while walking in the Queens borough.
The first incident occured after Rosh Hashana when young haredi man was shot in the back with a BB gun. Another incident occurred in the past few days when a haredi resident of the area was shot with an air gun and wounded in the leg.
