US President Barack Obama is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Monday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
It is the first meeting between the estranged leaders in nearly a year and comes at a time when relations have fallen to nearly Cold War-level lows over disagreements about Syria and Ukraine.
