MK Zouheir Bahloul (Zionist Union) has applauded the resolution of the strike among Christian schools in Israel.
"I applaud the solution that was achieved and the return of tens of thousands of students to their seats in school,"said MK Bahloul. "I am aware of the fact that not all of the demands were met, though we will continue to talk until we find a way to give schools back the necessary tools that will allow them to maintain their high standards."
He added that "On a personal level, as someone who grew up in these great schools, I supported the solution to the best of my ability because I feel these institutions contain invaluable assets. I thank the parents and students who have shown their maturity and wish them a fruitful and challenging school year."
