Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman about the crisis in Syria, the Kremlin announced on Sunday.
The two leaders reportedly spoke about the region’s security situation in an attempt to find a way to solve the crisis in Syria. Putin and Salman also spoke about “More efficient international cooperation against the ‘Islamic State’ (ISIS) terrorist organization and other terror groups.”
