Iran’s Supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, demanded that Saudi Arabia apologize for the Hajj stampede near Mecca, which claimed the lives of over 769 Muslim worshippers.
“This event will not be forgotten. Instead of shirking blame, Saudi Arabia should take responsibility and apologize to the Muslims and to the victims’ families,” he said.
