Minister for Culture and Sport Miri Regev (Likud) spoke in honor of television personality Moti Kirschenbaum, who died today (Friday) at the age of 76.
"A cultural hero has passed on today. Culture is mourning Kirschenbaum," said Regev. "Moti Kirschenbaum will be remembered for turning our screen into a stage and script. He spoke in his unique language and won over every heart. He knew how to criticize and how to praise. How to yell and how to smile. How to love people and nature, to love the simple and always pursued peace."
She added, "Moti Kirschenbaum has left behind a rich cultural heritage of humor and tears, the past and the future together. The man who grew up with us and create a unique new genre known as Kirschenbaum. His memory and legacy will remain with us forever."
