Brigadier-General (res.) Gal Hirsch responded on Thursday morning to Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan’s decision to rescind his candidacy for Police Commissioner.
“I, at the age of 51, learned a national lesson at my own expense. I come out of this experience concerned and worried and with harsh questions on the bad wind between us and on the state of the national spinal cord… democracy, law and the legislative regime.” Hirsch indicated that he endured a severe slander campaign from the moment he was appointed to Police Commissioner.
