Villagers in southern Mexico beat two men, then burned them to death, after they were accused of trying to steal a car, Associated Press reports.
An official anonymously told AP that the mob first handed the two over to police, but then grabbed them from jail, placed them in wooden chairs, and set fire to the chairs.
One person, allegedly the leader of the mob, has been arrested.
