An earthquake measuring 6.5 in magnitude struck 89 miles northwest off the Chilean port of Valparaiso, the US Geological Survey said on Monday.
Monday's quake, which witnesses said caused buildings to shake in capital Santiago, is the latest in a serious of aftershocks following a massive 8.3 earthquake that hit the same area last Wednesday.
